Thank you kindly. It's been my goal to get as much exciting and superior Brug material out there to the arboretums. Nothing is more disappointing than spending $20+ going to an arboretum only to find a handful of bland Suaveolens whites or pinks, or a single Charles Grimaldi that represent Brugmansia. I'm determined to help change that. This is why we never see huge Brug trees in books about gardens and Botanical Gardens. Fortunately now if you go to Balboa Park in San Diego, you'll see the plantings our crew did some years back of a couple HHG, 4 or 5 Ecuador Pinks, and even one Morgensonne. All growing voraciously and flowering like mad right now. Times are changing... for the better! |

I had forgotten to mention there's a little bit of nostalgia where VS will be located:
If anyone is familiar with a TV program in the 80's called "Fantasy Island", Baldwin Lagoon and the Victorian style cottage (supposedly on the island) were used as part of the opening credits.
So, for those of you who may remember Herve Villechaize running up the stairs to the bell tower, ringing the bell, and yelling "Boss... Da Plane! Da Plane!" - this is the very cottage.

A very big congratulations RJ, on having the foresight to suggest a Brugmansia display garden...and also having the lovely Vermilion Sky, taking what I'm sure will be pride of place... The wisest thing we can do is put them out there and hope that the beauty of Brugmansias, along with education, wins over many more enthusiasts... ... |

RJ- Pretty impressive and congratulations! Anyone would be proud to have their beauty displayed in a prominent Arboretum. By the way, if you'd like me to test it for you here in zone 7b NC, give me a hollar! LOL! |
