This is one of my cultivars that goes back a couple of years. Many of you have seen the bicolored phase that it can go thru in cooler weather. She blooms and blooms and blooms....even when she sat at my front door and was neglected....she bloomed. Very sturdy cultivar with beautiful flowers. The cross is NOL x Painted Lady.....This girl has been around a while. She is being grown in several parts of the states so I know that she will do well across the board but more importantly she is a heat loving brug and is bug resistant.

I figured it is time to get her registered.....here she is "La Femme Fatale"

Right now i just have a few cuttings that are promised out. I will start full scale this summer...so by fall for sure....but she has done well for everybody. You can't always expect the bicolor thing but when she does it....she really does it....and when she comes in straight dark pink like she is doing now in this heat (right now it's 10:30 am and it's already 83F degrees)....and she is loaded with buds.....

Gary, this really is a great genetic cross. If you can calculate percentages, this one is 50% Rothkirch (which is why the great nodding feature is coming back and the bright pink), and includes 25% Tiara. Very versatile, as having a double in the cross is always easier to create a double from this for hybridizers. I really love singles, but it's nice to have material like this to work with to go either way with in the future generations. That color changing effect is definitely a striking feature to see from a distance. Great job!
