Brugmansia sanguinea
Like arborea the B. sanguinea tolerates light frost. This angel trumpet comes from the Andes Mountains of Colombia to northern Chile. Brugmansia sanguinea has the strongest corolla tube of any other Brugmansia. The colors range from yellows, red, and orange. B. Sanguinea may be one color or blend from 2 to 3 colors. This species is a cool weather lover and blooms only when temperatures reach 50 to 60F. The leaves are soft and hairy and seed pods are egg-shaped as are the B. arborea.
